Delhi E-Ration Card Online Facility by AAP Launched

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched e-ration card service which is available to all the inhabitants of Delhi. Now you can download the e-ration card online at Delhi Food Security website.
On Facebook page of Arvind Kejriwal he said

"Today the AAP government launched e-Ration card facility for the people of Delhi.e-Ration card will bring immense convenience to the people of Delhi as it will cut down the delays in preparation and delivery of ration cards to the beneficiaries. It will also help in eliminating corruption in PDS and ensure that the entitlements reach the common man.
Ration is a right of the poor people and no corruption will be tolerated at all in denying this right to the people.
I also congratulate the Department of Food Supplies & Consumer Affairs and NIC for putting in place such an innovative and citizen friendly facility.
In future many more e-governance initiatives will be launched including computerization of all the Fair Price Shops."
This facility will help you to download your ration card online after when you have applied for ration card. So first you have to get your ration card filled.
Steps to download your e-ration card:


You will find a form. The image given below shows it:

  • Enter the details as required.
  • Click on continue and you will be redirected to download your rashan card.
After downloading print your ration card.

One of the reason stated to put it online is that it would reduce corruption. AAP is taking many steps to reduce corruption and trying to benefit people by different services. What you think about this? Do comment your opinion below.

      You have apply for deletion of member in ration card.
      Fill this form and submit it to the address provided in form: http://delhi.gov.in/wps/wcm/connect/2d4e5780416bb652a8c4ea00cc84aed0/Ration_Card.pdf?MOD=AJPERES&CACHEID=2d4e5780416bb652a8c4ea00cc84aed0

      And click on "Addition Or deletion in Ration Card" given under the Application forms list. Hope it helps!

      If you have the card you can find it on the ration card. If you don't you have to search for it online but you must know some details like head of the house name etc.

    Dear sir,

    My name is Lalit Kumar Puri, i want to apply for ration card (delhi), by the name of my wife,Renu Puri. But sir problem is that, when i tried it online, then a message appears that, AADHAR No. ALLREADY EXIST, even my mother-inlows says that she has already applied for removing the name of my wife from her ration card. but whenever i tried to apply same message appears again and again.
    Now what to do please help me,

    How to check that my wifes name is removed from my mothe-inlow's ration card, because mother-inlows says that she already applied for removing the name of my wife from her ration card but, whenever i tried to apply a new ration card for my family by the name of my wife, a message appears that "Aadhar No. Already Exist"
    Now what to do? Please help.

      When the name is removed you are required to ask them is the name is removed or not. Removing of name does not have any relation with aadhaar no. already exist problem. This is the problem of the website as there are name other people facing the same problem. I would recommend you to lodge a complaint as told above.

    My BPL Ration Card was misplaced in 2004.i had regisred a complaint for misplaced, I have FIR copy. but when i have apply for ration card in 2005 the department has issued us APL Ration. How can i apply for BPL Ration card?

      For which district and state you want to apply? The actual method is to surrender your APL ration card and then apply for BPl one.

      The reference number is generated by the website itself. You cannot get the reference number if you filled the form and when submitted you get an error. I think you have refill the ration form.

      In case of change of city, you have to surrender the old one from where you have shifted and apply for the new one in Delhi.

I have applied for New Rashan Card vide receipt no. 46402 dated 14/05/2015 by offiline our circle no. 47, asian Market, Khanpur, new Delhi - 110062. But sorry to inform you that I have not received new rashan card till date w.e.f. 17/05/2017. Hence, you are requested to kindly help me for provide new rahsan card immediately.
